3rd Year Anniversary! And.....

...also the proposal day!

Before deciding on the day, I did think of a few options. Either Xiaobai's Command (Abit too AA) or her birthday or another day, so that I can save more money to get a better ring. But fate had it that a free stay at RWS Hard Rock Hotel come along, so I decided to just go with it and propose on 26 October 2010!

First, a nice dinner at an atas restaurant...

Regardless of the cost, ordering the signature seafood test-tubes...

...and getting a sweet diversion from the true objective!

Going for a casual stroll after a satisfying meal

After the casual stroll...made it seem as though we are going back to make our gift exchange for Anniversary.

The default item in any anniversary/proposal, though we both agreed it wasn't very nicely done. :(

Her calendar of events for me, cos I have super lousy memory. :P

And an "effort" tiramisu, can clearly see the 3 ok, mai siao siao!

The surprise came as the digital photo-frame...I'd loaded the pictures in a short sequence that showed us starting out together, to a picture of the ring and......

K la, this wasn't the actual on the knee position but rather a photo taken after she agreed, ahahaha.

Goldheart Celestial diamond ring. Though it wasn't the biggest or most expensive, I chose it cause its cutting is supposedly unique to them only. And well....I can always upgrade it if the fwife wants to, haha.
So there we have it, the short story of the process, for our own remembrance. :)

Our 2nd year together! =D

we decided to hop onto Singapore Flyers for our 2nd anniversary =D

gosh i think we did grow older now that i'm looking at the pictures taken 2 years ago.. scary scary.

 Although he only got me 1 stalk of rose, i loved it nevertheless! u could see... almost all my pictures were posed with the rose =D

 Marina Bay sands has not opened during that time. There were lots of constructions going on when we were there.

yups! Check out the background, it was lotus-less but now the big white Lotus is planted there already. 

 Afte which, we went Black Angus steakhouse for dinner! 

 However.. we only remembered that the fried onions were freaking good. Nothing else. haha! the beef was overrated and overpriced, which was why we didnt head back there for meals anymore.

 ya, mine was without the fried onions so i kept koping his. hehe! 

 i remembered this particular part of the date most clearly, as if it just happened last month or something. Although it was only October, the xmas lightings were almost all up! =D

ah yes, i remembered this picture! during that time, almost all my friends on my fb had this picture as if it was a fashionable trend or what. this was taken inside the gigantic xmas tree outside Ion! Pretty isnt it? But u gotta tilt your head a little coz i dont know how to rotate. ha!

 Lastly, our pressieeesss!! =D

it was one of the best gifts i've given to beibie, am so proud of it! i love the frame, the pictures and the little decorations! =D

remember beibie? u were sick that day, thus that was the answer to your pale looking face =)

 in comparison, his gift was much much smaller, but i heart it no less. =D it was a little picture book with self-composed poems by beibie, it came with the hook to hook it to my hp. nais!

yeah, although I couldnt blog intensely about how we spent our fantastic 4 years together, let's walk through our anniversaries since the 4th is coming this wednesday and that our 3rd anniversary was the proposal day so everything would fit to a T! <3

Our First year together!

I have koped some of the paragraphs from my own blog when i was blogging them last time and add in some thoughts when i'm writing this now =)

we decided to indulge in a good meal at Hogs Breathe! we were poor students back then so this meal cost us quite a bomb! 

 this was mine, didnt really like the beef that day coz it was abit over cooked.

 beibie's one was much better! 

 OMG! This is heavenly GGOOOODDD! Royale from Canele(i think i got the spelling right)

 After a hearty meal cum dessert, we made our way to Clarke Quay to chill!

Beibie made this video just for me! I was quite touched and... broke down into tears. hahaaaa... thinking back, i kind of forgot what he said, but i remembered him singing a song of my favs last time (not to be revealed coz my friends will surely tease me for the lousy song selection!)

 and tadaa! my letter to him! (I purposely resize the pic in an attempt to escape from some pai sehness, waha!)

 reading the letter along the river bank of Clarke Quay was quite shiok! 

we didnt go for a drink.. why ah? isit coz we wanted to save some pocket money? perhaps! those were really the days man! it was when we had to think hard bot purchasing things like our $88 couple rings, eating "artas" food like sakae sushis. i'm sure we've all been through that phrase before =)

 we went Couple Lab to make our 1st rings!! we thought we could collect that day BUT... the person(refers to beibie) was busy and had to delay. pui! so no rings on our anniversary.. theb we went to build-a-bear but we didnt build it in the end coz we couldnt decided weather to build our baby or build a pair of us, and we saw something even cuter and more meaningful~ (shown in the picture)

If I go straight to the proposal then a lot of memories in hall will be missed out. So I'll try to recall some stuff we have done in hall! (Not in sequential order)

- "Branding" you when having supper at the Kovan HK cafe and visiting your house.
- Writing 我不会说鸡摆 100 times for using too much vulgarities, after which I really reduced usage.
- Having that piece of paper pinned in my room until the ink faded away, lol.
- Our favorite hall pet, Keela!! How funny it was that we lured her away from the bungalows....only to find out thats where she stays!
- Our pet hamsters...Tinkie and Lala....may they RIP :( We shall go 扫墓when we go back k?
-Our other "pet dogs", dumdum and lucky.
- WALKING, yes....walking! To Engine Mac in the middle of the night to de-stress
- Making my ear-stud at HM with you, but letting it close soon after cause it was too irritating when I put on/take off my helmet. :P
- Teaching you army cheers during our late night runs

The day when we granted the status to each other, boyfriend and girlfriend -26.10.2007

It was just another lunch date with Ablkers at deck. A new face showed up, who was actually an A blk senior and did not have a room for that semester. The first impression of him wasnt good because he kept ranting and ranting non-stop, like a machine gun or something. Everyone had finished their meals, except him and despite that, he was still happily eating his $6 bowl of laksa yong tau hu and talking at the same time. It was the first time I met him.


Few days later, we met again at the handball court for IBG. He came down to support us. That was when we got to really talk to each other. I found him quite a nice and chatty guy, and I guess he was one of the tallest guy in A blk already, (the rest were usually <173cm). For the subsequent nights, we chatted till 4am before I turned to bed and as for him, he was a temporarily security guard stationed in the lounge.

OMG! During that naive age of mine, I didnt really know what was supposed to mean by "going for date". I checked up the dictionary and it said "an appointment for a particular time, esp with a person is a potential boyfriend/girlfriend" that's it. I am-chio and melted into nuai ice cream.


The date turned up to be perfect, it was a secret date as the whole blk did not really know about it. Well, that was what I assumed. Upon returning back to hall, Shi Leng dashed to my room and asked me to get out and not return coz the whole blk knew about me and Aaron's "affair" and they were coming for the details. Too bad, too late, seconds after, Zhi Jian led an army and surrounded themselves outside my door and demand an interrogation. Kwaa kwaaaa...

We were officially together! Aaron tried to pop the question at Chinese Garden pagoda after all the strolling and stuffs since it was Mid-Autumn Festival. (so 老土right), BUT..... it was raining cats and dogs and we couldnt even bike there. Ahh...but still.... I agreed in the end. <3

Hi~! I've created this blog as part of our memories from proposal- flat searching- wedding package searching- photoshoot searching - preparation for the big day.
